Ghar Ka Garam Masala

A very important and a key ingredient in most of the recipes mentioned on this website and also useful as a generic spice for most Indian home cooked meals.

Ingredients
  1. 50 Gm Zeera
  2. 10-12 Tez Patta
  3. 6 - Badi Elaichi
  4. 10-12 Cloves
  5. 1/2 Jaiphal
  6. 4 pieces of Javitri
  7. 8 Dalchini
  8. 20-25 Gm Kali Mirch
  9. 4-5 Chhoti Elaichi
Warm all the above mentioned ingredients in a pan on medium heat for approximately a minute and in the hot state put it in a grinder and grind immediately, once the grinding is complete and it is formed into a uniform powder store it into an airtight container for future use, use of airtight container is recommended to seal the aroma and the delicious flavor of the garam masala.
Please understand that this has a shelf life of approx 30-90 days depending on storage conditions and is not meant to be refrigerated but stored at temperatures between 25-35 Degree Centigrade in a clean non humid environment.
