Todays Recipe - Shahi Paneer

Shahi Paneer


Preparation Time : 15 Minutes

Serves : 3-4

1 Cup=150 Gms

Ingredients

  1. Paneer (Cottage Cheese) - 200 Gms
  2. 1 Cup Fresh Milk Cream
  3. 1/2 Cup Fox Nuts (Makhane)
  4. 1/2 Cup Green Peas (Hari Matar) Peeled
  5. 2 Mid Sized Tomatoes
  6. 2 Mid Sized Onions
  7. Coriander to garnish
  8. Oil - 2 Tablespoon
 

Recipe

Dice paneer into 1 square inch approx, now put two tablespoon of oil in a pan and add finely chopped onions to it, add red chilli to taste and saute till golden brown, avoid not to burn them.
Now add finely chopped tomatoes along with the paneer to it, add salt to taste, now add home made garam masala and then the cream and foxnuts and green peas. Please ensure that foxnuts have been soaked in water for approximately two minutes before being added, now cook the mixture for approximately a minute till it starts releasing oil, once it starts releasing oil, turn the gas off.

Now you need to put it into a serving bowl and garnish it with coriander leaves and enjoy it with home made chapatis!!!
